205 GTI with added MI16ness and my car History so far
Discussion
Hi,
So currently driving a 205 GTI with an MI16. The shells a 1.6 and its reasonably solid but pretty tatty bodywork wise, has a 1.9 disc braked rear beam and a few other little bits and pieces. I got the car for free so im not too bothered with the condition as such, just repairing it slowly!

on a roadtrip to south wales

First car was a 1000cc classic Mini. Brought it as a project, had been off the road for over 10 years, got it MOT'd and pretty much drove it as I found it, roller painted it orange, then had a slight incident on ice and decided I wanted something slightly safer. Not got many pictures of this, so some poor phone photos of a before and after.

So I got myself a Land Rover Defender. 200tdi SW. Drove supprisingly well for such a big beast, but, being an old landy was incredibly slow. All I did to this was fit Some BF goodrich mud terrains and that was about it. After this I got my 205.

Some of my previous "non-road" cars
My comp safari truck, based on a Range Rover Classic chassis. Good fun, you just cant beat a V8! Currently awaiting a rebuild.

Toyota MR2, brought between a couple of mates, stripped, rally tyres, bucket seats, and ragged around a field until it died!

Had a couple of Shoguns, a 2.8 td and a v6. Learnt to drive in these! broke both for bits, the 2.8 after the gearbox went bang!
also had one of these

thanks for reading!
