Just had a brainwave, prompted by discussion of PDR on another thread: how about inviting a known-good paintless dent repair guy to come along to a (suitable) Sunday Service? Saves us each picking a name out of the Google hat and hoping that the guy who's got our local franchise is any good.

The guy(s) invited would do good and brisk business, perhaps offer a discount for the bulk work and lots of PHers could get those annoying and neglected dings and dents sorted out.

There'd doubtless be some issues to sort out (some hosts may not like the idea), but it'd be win-win-win.

If not an SS, then perhaps some other PH get-together?

I've been in the motor trade for 14 years and always used a great guy called Joe Reynolds from Automotive. Based in the South though. I spoke to him yesterday about this thread and he is happy to consider any options that might arise.
Anyone organising events or Sunday Services can call him on 07740 245765 to make arrangements.

How about "no" ?

The point of a Sunday service is for PHers to get together. Not to get together to have your cars detailed/fixed/serviced/etc. It's a free social event, not a commercial event.

And how could you ever define who would be the lucky commercial winner?

Also considering that most events are held at relevant venues, I'm not sure they'd allow such ideas.

Sounds a decent idea... Maybe a certain percentage could go towards future SS events/a nominated charity or something of similar ilk smile
