Seen this for sale, never owned a vauxhall, always had Fords, I know Jeremy Clarkson said on Top Gear that its possibly one of the worst cars ever made... but surely they must be quite good plenty of people have them..

Im after something this size and engine and price range.

Also I've read thay have a timing chain, but have been known to break even before 100k change recomendation ?

Firstly, what all reviews have to say about a car have to be taken in context of the new asking price. Faults that make a car less appealing than the competitors at £20k suddenly become much less annoying when it's £1500 and the competition are still £3k+ as in this case. Who the fk cares that it's boring, it's a £1500 snotter and all that matters is that it's reliable and cheap to keep it on the road. I'd say that for shedding it's as safe a bet as you'll find, and the poor image makes it a right bargain.

I always thought the Signum in a decent spec was a nice enough car - if only for the spacious rear seat. Always found the front cabin to be a bit tight.
