Alfa Romeo 147 JTDm Lusso

Recently picked this up as a run around.

147 JTDm Lusso in Radifocani Red, which looks brownish until the sun comes out and then the red flake sparkles and transforms it.

Had a couple of 33's back in the day and I must say its great to be back in an Alfa.

I have always struggled with the fact Alfa were to go diesel but the engine pulls and revs well and it still drives like an Alfa should.

Interior is very nice, like a 70's Maserati, and for a small car it's a comfortable ride.

I thrap it on the motorway and get 50mpg so happy with that!

Very nice Alfa..... good combination of red/light leather trim.

But it would look great on some Teledials...!

I am a bit biased.... having a 2005 156JTDM 150 that originally came with the multi-finned 17 'GT' alloys; they were quite 'soft' alloys and were prone to getting out of shape. I immediately replaced the originals with a nice set of 16 inch Teledials from my 2000 156 1.8 TS, so it now looks like a 'newer model' with the older wheels !

PS Not entirely sure if 156 Teledials would fit a 147...!

Looks lovely. I just picked up a 2003 2.0 TS. Got red leather but the older doorcards with the alcantara instead of the stitched leather like yours.

Lovely looking 147, is it the 140 bhp version?

They do fit, have Teledials on my 147. All gt, 156 and 147 wheels are interchangeable

Thanks higgsy. It's the 120 bhp version with I think 212 lbs/ft torque, so down on horse power but only slightly down on torque.

The engine revs well for a derv and does have decent punch and like I said drives like an Alfa should. Good fast steering, terrier handling and an egg you on mentality. The car is pretty light compared to many newer cars which helps and with the modest tyres it's good all round fun.

I travelled all the way down to Bath from Manchester for it. Found a breakers selling a red interior with red leather door cards. I've messaged them to ask if they'll sell just the door cards...
