Getting it recovered from MOT station as we speak. Hope its on the low pressure side. Any tips on where to get pipes from? I can't see anything on the alternative parts list. Please tell me they aren't TVR specific smile

Since you oop Norf, there is an excellent local place for hoses/pipework next to Gateshead Stadium called Autopipe. Very helpful and reasonable prices (as far as bespoke stuff goes).

Armed with the info you gave on my North East thread - there is another excellent pipe/hose company in Lemington which will be closer for you. G T Hydraulics

Unfortunately its the rack that's cracked. Bugger! No cheap quick fix here.

I used this company to repair my rack when others could not. The owner certainly knows what he's talking about and a good fast service. They manufactured a part that had stripped the threads inside the rack, re-cut the threads in the housing and cleaned it all up on the lathe too to remove any signs of rust.
May be worth a call to see if they can help as new (reconditoned)racks are very expensive.

Cheers, going to see if the crack can be welded. Its a hairline crack along the underside of the rack. Can hardly see it but the fluid is coming out. Worst case I'll pick up a new housing and get my internals rebuilt into that housing.
