Great pictures, they have made even more excited for the Clacton airshow and Dunsfold in a couple of weeks. I love the picture of the two Lancs and the Spit, such an iconic sight.

Cheers folks. Nice pics OvalOwl, do you often go up there? It was my first time trying it out. It was OK, but hit and miss as to whether you got photo opportunities or not. I knew it would be like that though, worth the risk I think, especially as I'm just 30 mins along the coast!

More pics from the Saturday, went back down with my Dad along the display line this time.

First time for me. Went down for the Lancs really. Parked in a street on the edge of town and walked up to a good viewpoint.

Yes they are quick compared to the Spits and Mustangs! Hard to get a pic if you're a novice like me!

There were going to be two Noggie Vampires but the other one is O/S in Belfast. Needs a new engine apparently.

Bloody brilliant watching the Lancasters yesterday, and everything else. we walked up on Butts Brow from where we live. Probably will not see that again in my lifetime. Usually mad for traffic for Airbourne but bloody mental yesterday . for Eastbourne for once
