Because he likes it a lot. That's all it takes smile

Like the star trails but the obelisk looks a bit green IMHO.

Maybe not one of the best, I have taken some great photos. I think I like this one a lot because of the time put into making it smile

Well said, I like it, it's just a hobby for now and I'm still learning the ropes. But I like it. That's all smile

Yeah, that's nothing todo with the camera or light. Unfortunately it has small bits of moss on it which create the green effect smile

Thank you smile

It's Ham Hill, near Yeovil in Somerset smile

Tripods are one of photographers best friends, essential, not just in low light! biggrin

Well if it's really that colour then you're technically correct - but to the casual observer it looks like a white balance issue. Go back to that layer and try beating it a bit flatter and see if you prefer it smile

Who let Ken Rockwell in here! smile

Tripods are essential for some, couldn't live without mine.

No no no. Ken is all about turning up the saturation until it looks like the colour TV in a 1980s Chinese takeaway. smash

I try to avoid using mine at all costs for weddings, but it's essential for studio work - not for shutter speed, but for consistency of angle.

My current shot on facebook and 500px is 201 seconds of exposure, try hand holding that...

The op photo is nice, good start into astro, I agree fix the wb for the structure.
