Tyre pressure gauges

Are they all much the same? I don't trust the auto cut off petrol station pumps/gauges and I have a small Lidl digital one, but I'm not sure how accurate that is either.

Mine (I have a few) seem to vary by up to 5psi.

They can vary quite dramatically from new and a relatively small knock can push them way out of calibration.

I use a Halfords digital gauge. It suggested the gauge on my Machine Mart footpump isn't very accurate.
