The original tyres were:

PZero's
Front 185/55 R15 81V
Rear standard 205/50 R16 87W
Rear option 225/45 R16 87W

replacements are usually the following:

Standard:
F: 185/55VR15
R: 205/50ZR16

Alternative:
F: 195/50VR15
R: 225/45/ZR16

T1S's have a softer sidewall and are meant to be better in the wet...... I have them on my car.

To be honest I do not appreciate the technical differences in tyres, all I know is that they are the only thing that attach my car to the road. Advans are commonly believed to be the best road tyre. They are a little more expensive, however like I said before I wouldn't skimp!

I think I understand the simpler parts of the tyres such that bigger = more traction. That in turn means that there would be less lairy moments, however those that there are could be larger as the grip is given up later on when the tyre is under higher loada
