Me: So how much is this renewal again?
Operator: £175.16
Me: One Seven Five point one six?
Operator: Oh, I see what you mean... last year it was £500 odd wasn't it?
Me: Yep, wanna check that new figure?

10 mins in Christmas hold music hell later...

Operator: I have checked with my manager and my collegues. We have sent out the quote so we will honour it with no change to the policy.
Me: Let me snap your hand off

However the enclosed House Insurance quote was a suspicious £432. I rather suspect they have mixed up the numbers. So going to wait and see. I'll keep an eye on this one and leep you informed!

Nice, I like it when it works in the punter's favour for a change!

Well done...

I have a feeling mine won't be that cheap after gaining 6 points in the last couple of months

Running a TVR in the ace-T household sure is going to be cheap this year

Certainly is, after winning a free service at TVR Power in the regional charity raffle, and then getting the comedy insurance renewal in the post
