Modified Gen 2 997 Turbo - 1/4mile quicker than a 650S
Discussion
I am doing some future financial planning and I might slap a new exhaust on the Turbo next year, I might not. If I do I will need the ECU changed and well, I might as well go the full hog.
I am sure some of you have seen this video before.

Does anyone know or can help answer, apart from the tyres in this video which are slicks, can all these upgrades be done with OEM parts ? Who in the UK does this type of work?
I am not even sure what a Y-pipe upgrade is..?

Nine go over the top with hybrid turbos early on.
imo go with Cargraphic kit or the kit shown (sharkwerks) both are the same bits, both reversible easy, and both are 600bhp.
If you're limited to 600ish - that'll be up to the 9e35 kit - pretty much the same as CarGraphic and Sharkwerks kit, no turbo or intercooler change.imo go with Cargraphic kit or the kit shown (sharkwerks) both are the same bits, both reversible easy, and both are 600bhp.
Sorry I took the full hog...

as meaning getting close or better than a 650s and being in the UK (Parr and others can supply CarGraphic kit).Who in the UK does this type of work?
That means Turbo and intercooler changes along with other stuff. Our 9e30 is not the full hog, she's a baby tune, a 9e20 is getting towards the full hog, sorry for the misunderstanding.

"Ultimate performance from the 911 Turbo is achieved with the TechArt TA 097/T2 performance kit. The kit includes a sport air filter, manifolds, TechArt Sport exhaust system, and a revised engine management system. The result is 620 horsepower and 604.5 lb-ft of torque – an increase of 120 hp and 88.5 lb-ft over stock. This gives the Turbo incredible performance, accelerating to 62 mph in 2.9 seconds, 124 mph in just 9.3 seconds, and hitting a top speed of 207 mph.
Both TechArt TA 097/T1 and TA 097/T2 Porsche performance kits are currently available to those looking to give their 911 Turbos break-neck performance. The 570 horsepower TechArt TA 097/T1 performance kit is priced at € 3,900 (+/- 5,000 USD) while the 620 horsepower TA 97/T2 performance kit is available for € 10,840 (+/- 14,000 USD)."
