Almost 10 years since the GTI ED30.. doesn't seem like such a long time ago when it came out! ED40 on the horizon maybe?

Some of the prices of Mk2's are insane. The one pointed out in the article, non standard, with "low miles" at 139k and he wants almost 7 grand

whilst im not the worlds biggest fan of golf gti's (i feel a lack of character) they hold there money well.

mk4 i felt was a real let down in reliability terms as soon as you remapped it. coilpacks and gearbox shat themselves
