BMW 335i Run flat tyres or not???

Hello,

I have an e92 BMW 335i coupe, the front tyres are needing to be replaced, i am not really wanting to put run flats back on as they are very expensive and make the ride of the car rather firm. Is it advisable and safe to have run flats on the back and non run flat tyres on the front? Can anyone offer any advice

Should be fine but if the rears only have a few thousand miles left in then replace them also.

Change all tyres to non-runflats. The car handles a bit odd if you mix the two, even across different axles.

It will transform the way the car drives. Less road noise, more grip and smoother ride! (provided you're not replacing them with nandongs or linglings)

I found the Vredestein Ultrac Sessantas a great tyre on my 3 series. I have gone with Michelin PSS on the Z purely because on these tyre sizes I couldn't get hold of Vreds.

Even some cheaper regular tyres all round will improve the ride and handling over the best run flats.

Change the lot.
