I've an elite crono fluid elastogel turbo trainer plus wheel riser which I bought last year for winter training and never really got on with the rigid position. If anyone has an elite arion parabolic roller or similar they would like to swap then let me know smile

stick with the turbo. Ive go a set of rollers and at first there great fun and motivation just learning the technique of how to ride on them. After that though I don't find them useful for anything more then spinning my legs out.

Invest in some sufferfest videos or play around with HIIT on it.

I hear what your saying dave, but it's outdoors for me this winter. If truth be told I quite enjoy going out in awful weather and the feeling of having accomplished just getting out the door. So it's fixed wheeled all the way and the rollers should be a good way of tweeking core and technique when the snow and ice arrives.

Rollers are hard enough with less tyre pressure.
