Does anyone know what's involved in enabling sat nav on a non sat nav pcm 3 unit?
Mine won't put out any sound and I've been offered a unit without sat nav.

Non NAV PCM do not contain the necessary hardware; you can't retrofit it to an existing unit - no hard drive on-board

The retrofit option for Non NAV cars is a replacement PCM - this comes with an on-board 6 disc changer too...

If you bought the unit you would essentially be downgrading.

What SW are you running? (press SOURCE and INFO simultaneously) might be worth trying an update - you can upgrade to 7 digit postcode for 149.99 all in.......
