'Dodgy' car?

[kmpowell]

Heard, then saw, this gorgeous thing burbling up the road tonight...

Nothing odd about that, but then I clocked the "betty blue chevvy" wording on the plate. Curiosity got the better of me so I looked it up...

I can't think what genuine reason there would be for displaying that plate, unless he owns a Chevvy (imported in during 2007) and is/has transferred/ing the plate?

is it a kit car?

[confused_buyer]

DVLA shows it as a 1971 car registered in the UK in 2007.

I'm not normally a fan of American cars but wow that is sexy. *off to check eBay to see how much one would cost*

...or the chevy is MOT'd, taxed and insured and the Mustang isn't

[SV8Predator]

Or he's just transferred the plate?

FFS, if the APNR doesn't get you, PH will!

You might be missing the point that it's supposedly a red mustang, not a blue chevvy as the DVLA states...?

Looks like a blue Corvette to me...

Too much. Dreadful cars, most of them. Mine was awful, huge performance with ford anglia brakes and handling. And 4mpg.
