I'm drawing a blank here chaps and hope someone can help. I need disc 2 of the disc below to complete an update.
I bought new discs for the Vantage and took this one out to put in the DBS. It's now asking for disc 2. I was never given disc 2.... A call to the dealer drew a blank, they say there is no disc 2.
Assuming that can't be true, if anyone has disc two, I would be really grateful if I could have the use of it for a couple of days.

Contact me through PH or brent at puwer.co. uk
Thanks.

Is that the right disc for your DBS? Later models had a different version of Sat Nav (pre Garmin version)

I'm willing to try anything to be honest. I bought 2014 discs but it won't let me install it because its halfway through the update on the disc above. I just want to finish the update so I can put in the new discs I've bought.

Any help would be hugely appreciated.

Every time the car is started, the Nav goes to the "Please insert disc 2" screen. Nothing else is accessible.
I bought another set of 2014 discs but it won't accept the new discs as it is expecting the old one.
I have two options, go to the dealer and get some kind of reset or stick in disc 2 from the 2012-2013 set.

I don't have disc 2 from the 2012-2013 set. If anyone has disc 2, I would really appreciate it if I could use it for a day.
Then I can insert the new 2014 discs from the Volvo dealer.

Thanks.

I can send you disk 2 and 3 but there from sat nav updates so not the same I guess?? would need 3 back as it needs this to operate but at least you could try this.
Not sure if this would bugger it all up but mine is DVD so I don't think its the same as yours?
Try sat nav updates not bad for £25 mine updated ok and has cameras now and full postcode.

You're a real gentleman, thanks for the offer. Mines HDD so I don't think those will help. Still, you're on my Christmas/free beer tokens list!!
One of the options was to get "backup" discs, which is pretty legit in this case IMHO. I'll see if they have 2012 discs.

If yours is the HDD system the disc in your OP is for the earlier DVD system

????
I didn't even look. OMG!!! It's the disc I've taken out of my 2011 Vantage, what even confirms it is the new discs I just bought were for the HDD and worked.
No wonder I wasn't getting what you were saying earlier.
Thanks for pointing this out. It'll give me something to beat the dealer up with.

Update for those who might need to know this. So....
If you are a complete knob/muppet/other brain farting individual who puts a DVD update disc in a HDD system, it will try to overwrite the firmware and leave you in the crap.
Stratstones are getting me a boot loader disc to reinstall the system and get me out of the crap.

Note to self and all, do not put a DVD disc in a HDD system.....
