Short aerial options on pre 08 Vantage

Hi all,

I'd like to change the aerial on my MY07 car to the short aerial.

Looking through old posts on this forum, someone did recommend this one:

It's a bit more expensive than cheap ebay options but seems well made.

Has anyone else changed their aerial and what did you get?

Any assistance would be appreciated :-)

Radio reception is still pretty carp though.

Thanks for posting a photo (lovely car). This aerial is so much better.

As long as the reception is similar to OEM I'd be happy really.

I think that the reception is similar to the rubbish OEM whip aerial. Still rubbish though!

I had one fitted to my car.

Past tense as the fecking thing flew off a couple of months ago. I'm not convinced the fit is that great as a result! Either that or someone loosened it. But it never seemed to seat that well.

If there are other options I'm all ears.

Reception on mind wasn't as good as the whip aerial either. I hardly listen to anything other than Talksport when listening to the radio these days (as have yet to find any channel that doesn't have egotistical knob jockeys on it when I'm in the car).

I only fitted it as I park the car under a lift and need the extra clearance.

i fitted a standard skoda short stubby one. Looks perfect, reception is the same and hasnt moved at all.
For the grand total of 5 quid.

I tried a cheap one off ebay a few years back, reception was even worse so gave up in the end and put the original back on
