GAP insurance value on a Lease car

Hi All,

Question regarding GAP insurance on a leased vehicle; I have to select a 'GAP claim limit' which is the amount of cover to pay the outstanding rentals. However in the event of a total loss, is this all that would be required to be paid through Insurance / GAP cover?

To be on the safe side I think I'd be asking the leasing company what level of cover they'd suggest.
