Which is Best way to clean Boxster Roof
Discussion
I was down at Oulton Park at the weekend in my white immaculate) Boxster-987, parked my car in the Hotel car park which was under a tree(Mistake!), in the morning the car was covered in bird sh*t, once back home I've given her a good wash, the body work is now fine, but the Hood still shows white marks, anybody got any ideas the best way of cleaning the hood -I've tried soapy water, is there a spray you can buy to take out any stains?
There's a decent guide on Kelly's site..

P.S. Once you are clean, re-proofing is really worth the effort [for costmetic reasons]. I recently tried some Grangers XT and the initial results were as good as the video at the above link.... P.P.S. You generally need to apply these re-proofing products to a thoroughly wetted top in the shade and then move the car into the sun to let it bake dry. However you would be wise to mask-off the glass, adjacent trim/paintwork first which can be a pain so best left for sunny day without too much wind
