Encountered on the streets of Ascot today, my very first sighting of a curious motoring oddity; the Aston Martin Cygnet.

Found it surprisingly hypnotic.

Just thought I'd share.

I did wonder what happened to these. I've never seen one on the road.

Has to be a collectors curio in a few years - just a matter of working out when the prices hit bottom. We have had two IQ's (1.0 auto and 1.33 manual), which have been excellent. Wouldn't say no to one with a tarts handbag leatherated interior and comedy styling by Aston if the price was right.

Given that most must have been pre registered, I do wonder whether, if you were in the market for an IQ anyway, a cheeky bid of, say, £12K would get you one.

Clearly no one is paying £30K for them. biggrin

Only 3 on sale on Autotrader at the moment, cheapest priced at £18k.

Way too pricey to tempt me.
