Tasteful Mods to an S2

Since I am totally rebuilding the old girl, I wondered what people regard as tasteful mods to the car to make it a bit more special. The mods should be realistic, cost effective, and tasteful!
Here is the basic outline:- Monza Red, Full Early Wood Dash, Black carpets & Hood with black piping.
I'm open to ideas, so what are your suggestions to improve upon the car for both interior and exterior?

Quite a tricky one improving on the original judging by the replies!!! Jas, your spec sounds lovely, but really, it is up to you what mods you make. I think the 'recipe' tvr used when they made the s was just about spot on, but if I was rebuilding an s I would try and engineer as much quality into the ar as possible. Really the attention to detail does matter, right down to the fixings and fastening as well as the basic components, IMHO.
Obviously, this won't come as a surprise to you, what with your racing outlook, I guess!
All the best with it, sorry I couldn't come up with more ideas. I recently fitted a windscreen washer spray bar from a peugeot 405 I found in a scrappie. It cost pennies and gets rid of flies and crud much more effectively than the p*ssy little jets that were on there before. There's an old thread around if you want more info.

I already have the wooden wheel, (Nardi) with alloy spokes and a proper TVR logo in the middle which looks good. It's a toughie isn't it, because as you say, it's already a lovely car which I want to keep looking reasonably original, but with a few subtle mods to bring it slightly more up to date. As an example, I thinks LeeBee's 'S' is the perfect car.

seen the pictures of leebees motor,very impressive
imho,its the subtle changes that look the best such as the chromed/stainless dials.its too easy to go too far on what is a beautiful design in the first place.think the odd splash of steel here and there does set off the dash and as yours is wood think it would look pretty special.
fitted an aluminium dash to my s3(not the same dash i know).looked good at first but now thinking of going back to the wood as it looks more inkeeping with the car.
as for the outside the only thing i can think of is the smoked lights as seen on the thread 'smoked' rear lights-strangely enough

Thanks for the kind comments guys, it will be even nicer when the "LeeBee hidden side exhaust" is completed! (sorry been out in the sun working on TVR's all day, and whenever I get 5 mins to take mine out the exhaust tries to depart due to the naff ground clearance!)

As a bit of a gadget boy and into car electrics I would suggest some of the things to make life a little easier - electronic boot release (s3+ from breaker), electric mirrors (from Citroen - if you don't already have them), central locking and the never used headlamps on from the car alarm key fob (why??? I hear you cry - a freebie from the alarm installer).
I also have a light and an overide one the cooling fan and a switch to give the second speed on the blower (which is very useful). (if you don't already know the blower is a three speed where only 1st and 3rd are used - hence the big jump)
I always think the wipers are a little poor but it's tricky finding a suitable replacement, I also thought about fitting a wiper delay, it's just finding a suitable one.
One other thing which may be worth having a look at (if LeeBee hasn't got a line in them yet) is fitting the spare wheel under the bonnet (I dumped mine in favour of the expanding foam) - as shown in the 'Bible' - you may then be able to use the boot for carrying things!!!
