£700 Toyota MR2 Mk2

Afternoon All,

Thought i would update you all (if interested) on my current car.

Bought a £350 BMW 520i just to see me through till i saved some money, logic was an old beemer would be as reliable as anything.

Turned out not so, so sat on my drive currently with no mot. (if anyone wants a £200 bmw, you know where to come)

So i saved a little money and found myself a new car.

Wanted something still fun, reasonable insurance and hopefully reliable!

An ad came up for an MR2 round the corner from me, and a quick journey and some bargaining and she was mine.

Only have 1 picture so far been out enjoying the t bar roof!



Mechanically its sound, although its on high mileage (150,000 :O)

Has a stainless steel exhaust on it, so sounds good but not too abusive and loud.

The paintwork really needs the most attention as its turning slightly pink and needs some life bringing back into it. (best ways to do this greatly appreciated!)
