A lot of garages opened at midnight for the really keen people. An 8.30 collection is quite restrained smile

Only seen one - a BMW on a trailer being towed by a Defender on the M62. I wouldn't have noticed but I only looked as I assumed that the BMW was on a trailer because it was broken down.

I saw a 54 plate, an 08 plate, an 07 and even a Y on the way to work this morning. Do they count?

Sooner we have a number plate system without an age identifier the better...

I havnt seen any 64 plates, but it has just dawned on me that my motorbike is now 15 years old, going by its registration date (T reg, 1999...I'm assuming it was always new ones in september or am I wrong?)

Got to wait till the 22nd before we get ours
Guess we'll have missed out on the 'show it off as brand new that day' bandwagon by then... frown

Most impressive I saw was a new reg car arriving at a French camp-site at 13:00 hrs on the first (of August at that time), some 350 miles south of Dieppe. driving

I think so! How is that even possible? Did it have trade plates on?

Or it was stolen from the dealers...

Lots of dealers put 'show' plates on stuff in August like NU64REG etc.

May have been that being moved to a show/shopping centre/other site.

I think we've handed over 30 or so today.

I saw a 64 plate Mokka in white being reversed into a disabled spot at my local retail park this morning. The lady driver promptly scraped it against the car parked next to her. Ooops

Sweet justice for getting a coffee type drink thing as a car.
