Does anyone else keep getting flashed at night with just normal full headlights on?

Everyone seems to think I have full beam on which I dont!
Or do I need them checked out to see their level

Yup.

Go over a bump and the headlights can appear to be on full beam.

Shaun

Yeah I get that loads.

I prefer to think that they are flashing me because they are admiring my car instead of blinded!

I get that too. I normally flash them back to show them what full beam actually is!

One guy I was following actually stopped in the middle of an unlit country road to tell me to turn my main beam off, and refused to believe that I didn't have it on!

Wow - a TVR with headlights that actually light up the road. I am looking foward to getting our Mk II even more now.

Not only do you light up the road in front of you, you also light up the next county!

I see it as payback for the fact that every xenon/whatever lamped car out there blinds me in the Tusc, with it being so low down.

I have the Tuscan lights on my Griff and the elipsidal lens beam is very sharp, so if slightly too high will give a very bright light for people.Thats why HID gas discharge lights must be self levaling !The lens is also very good for popping a white LED behind for realy great looking side lights, very bright, so very good for day lights. (no i do not wear a base ball cap backwards)

This is an old post, but given that I am increasingly noticing I blind people when driving at night, I wondered if

- anyone had altered their headlights so they had a better beam alignment (mine is pretty bad - right hand beam tends to have about 75% of its light covering the other side of the road!).
- anyone has replaced their existing bulbs (standard ones) with better visibility (Xenon?).
