Trailing arm with an upgrade tie-bar..Must of had an outrigger replacement being box section like that?...Its either a 280i..Or possibly an early 350i...I think for that price its worth it for the driveshafts..Hubs/Stub axles and diff carrier...Ziga

Zig, think its an early Tasmin 350/280 as mine has the box section outriggers, same as in the pic.

The trailing arm and tie rod mods look almost identical to what we did for the taz racers

Thanks for clearing that up mate...TBH i haven't a clue when the square tubing was starting to be used..I assumed it was on the later 350's and most if not all of the 400's...450's....My 1982 280i had round tube on the outriggers...My 1987 s2 350i has round tube outriggers..So it seems that square outriggers were used in-between, I wonder why this was...I guess anything was possible with TVR...

I just think that chassis is a bitsa. you can make out some of the old round braces that have been cut off and joined elsewhere with square

the spring mounts also look modified at the front so at best its a break for the useful rear end parts vs slotting into an existing wedge (IMHO)

Looks like its been mod for racing with seat brackets and the trailing arms have the ball joints on them.
Looks like it will make a good chassis for some one making up a hot motor.
Is it wrong I like it the mk2 body on it, now that would be cool
