Mate at work has a 2012 1.5 dci clio and needs to know his oil capacity and grade. i'm getting conflicting grades based on whether it has a DPF or not.

i need to know the exact grade for his, is there a way to find out using the vin or failing that how can i check it has a dpf?

Ring a Renault dealer perhaps?

I'm sure they'd have a big book of crap like that.

Have a look on a specialist supplier's website with a by-vehicle lookup...?

Cheers for replies guys, oddly i had access to the web but no phone! Got ana answer from renault in the end.

Confusion was due to needing to confirm dpf, apparently makes a difference to which oil to use. This one has one, so 5w30 fully synth.
