I took a drive out yesterday in my 4.0 Chimaera from Edinburgh to Glencoe and back with a detour via Glen Etive where they filmed some of the James Bond Film Skyfall. Filling up in Edinburgh and again in Glencoe saw the TVR do 22mpg, a friends F Type do 16mpg, and a rented Audi S5 do 11mpg! The F Type is a 380bhp V6 S model but weighs almost double the TVR, so it was no quicker than a (fettled) 4.0 Chimaera.......

Nothing too serious. Had the outriggers done, Nitron shocks, full geo, bigger brakes, bigger heads, full de cat, ceramic coated manifolds, smooth bore air intake, carbon trumpets etc etc.... Next step is an aftermarket ecu.
