car transportation from Scotland to Surrey
Discussion
Just my two pence. Where in Scotland makes a massive difference to this. Whereabouts in Scotland is it being picked up?
I know you've mentioned it's a long drive but:
- Train tickets up the east coast are pretty reasonable.
- It's a weekend, so if you drive on a Sat/Sun night the traffic should be pretty scarce.
- If you're driving from North of Edinburgh/Glasgow there are some nice driving roads
(this is the most important point of course). Also some nice roads in Northumberland if you head that way.
- You'll potentially get to know any little problems with the car on the way down and can address them when you get back home.
If it were me I would make a trip out of it and take someone along for the ride!
