Overtaken by a stunning V12 on full throttle -what a noise !

Had the pleasure of being overtaken at full pelt by a glorious sounding AMG 63 coupe today as we both accelerated flat out off a round about up onto the motorway. Nice to see a really quick car being given some stick.

Made my 300 Bhp look somewhat feeble as it blasted past us (I was on full throttle in 2nd and 3rd as it went past). I wound the windows down as he went past to enjoy the sound and it really was a glorious sound...

It was one of these, I want one now !

I was sitting by the side of the road having a smoke on my motorbike when a BMW M6 wedding car went past a full chat. It made the hairs on the back of my neck stand up.

SL63 AMG is a V8
SL65 AMG Black series is a V12

It was definitely a V12.
It had a V12 badge on the wing (mrs rallycross had spotted this earlier at the lights) and his number plate was V12 ###.

I've never seen one before so I don't know what exact model it was - but it looked similar to the one in the link, he'd been behind for a couple of miles in slow traffic and I noticed the twin bulges in the bonnet and huge flared wheel arches, a beast of a car.

Most days on my commute I get the pleasure of hearing a 458 at full throttle. A white one that seems to be driven up and down the A46 Leicester western bypass for fun by the owner.
