Driving down the M4 near Bristol yesterday I saw the strangest car ever! It was 2 "fronts" of a Rover 75 (I think) welded together ala Top Gear challenge from ages ago with the Saab/Alfa! The reg was Q94 BCY - I managed to capture it on my dashcam but still need to download it.

I have to say the quality of the work looked pretty damned good! Interestingly, it didn't have any red rear lights on the front, er back so not sure how road legal it really was. I'll try and upload the video later.

Anyone know anything about it/seen it about?

It was at a show in Northleach today and was, as you say, two Rover 75 front ends joined together. Badged as a Rover 150.

It that is the car you seen above, it looks like a proper neat job.... which blows my mind; someone has spent hours/days/weeks meticulosity joining two Rover 75's together... why?

Correct pic this time.

Although it has a Mk3 and a MK4 front/rear whatever.

That's the one smile

Yes, weird why someone would do it but each to their own I suppose. It looks very well done. I wonder how they get away with no red reflector issue? I presume the "front" rear lights have red bulbs in or some such?

I love that there are people out there doing this kind of utterly pointless but hilarious malarkey.

I can imagine the reaction in France. Something like: "Zut allors! These crazy English don't only drive their crappy cars on the wrong side of the road, they drive them backwards!".

I've seen the sister car, with the 2 rear ends put together.
