What injectors for 390 SE ?
Discussion
Hi all,
My nearside injectors have all got perished o rings (thanks to Chris for spotting this and thus the cause of my fuel leak, also thanks to Mark aswell) and i am just wondering what upgrade injectors may be suitable (I think they are the original ones 27 years old) for my 390 SE ?
Any advice recommendation greatly appreciated
Many thanks

Just did a quick google search for the jag part number. Does appear to be also the sane number for a Porsche. I didn't realise they were so expensive

I recommend a front to back review of the linked PDF from the "Fuel Injector and Power Resistor Pack" section on this archivehttp://www.vintagemodelairplane.com/pages/Rover_Te...
There-in you will discover an inexpensive DIY solution to the problem of older and tired RV8 Flapper injectors.
In my experience these injectors are pretty much bullet proof and one would be unlucky to have them damaged.
Even if one or two are beyond repair, the same injectors are commonly available on Ebay, often 8 of them, still fitted to their fuel rail, for not very much money, and certainly a lot less than buying a single new injector. You finish up with spares and after refurb, some to sell at a profit too.

The recommended reading contains a complete DIY home workshop service guide using commonly available tools, etc, but it could definitely be enhanced by purchasing an inexpensive ultrasound cleaner - cheap as chips too.

Apologies to forum members who dislike references to my own web pages.

bosch 0280 150 105 on my 390
Just looked at mine, mine are also 0280 150 105
Are they high flow etc. ?
I also have a full spare set too, I bought a fuel rail for pennies some time ago that just happen to have the 105 injectors too

Many Thanks for ALL the replies, really appreciate it.
Long live the Forum

I've got one, maybe two, spare sets of the 0-280-150-153 High flow jag injectors available. They're a straight swap for the flapper system.
Those other porsche/jag injectors (0280250158) look like they're for the later hotwire system as they have a diffrent fitting on the fuel rail side.
