car tax process

I always used to think it was hit and miss whether an online vehicle tax disc application worked.

Half the time I got the message that my cars were not on the National Insurance Database or similar.

I am now wondering if the new system of taxing and not receiving a disc is going to be any different.

Just went through the process online and I dont think an insurance check was done.

Apologies if this is not clear !

I've never had a problem...... Except once on the wife's daily bomb. It refused me, then she found the "well" out of date mot.

Always worked just fine for me.

MID. www.askmid.co.uk to see if the plate's on it. But it's not checked these days, just MOT if required.
