Just found out my 400 has dim dip. Any way to disconnect this? (so when on sidelights and engine on, the headlights don't pop up/come on?)

Cheers.

Probably require some re-wiring but not sure what you're trying to achieve. If you don't want pop-ups with engine off you need to rewire the switch to go via another relay with an ACC switch

My 350i is:
Little switch on steering wheel - one click sidelights, second click pop-ups
Dash driving lamp switch & steering wheel one click - side lights & lower driving lamps
Think I also have fogs on the pop-ups by pushing the indicator stalk back (flick froward to flash) - but my memory may be failing me

If you just want to disable dim/dip you can probably just bypass/disconnect the module (not sure where that is on the 400 though)

On my 280i you could have just the sidelights on and i had a separate switch for the front fogs...I would like this on my 350i but apparently it meant cutting wires or re-wiring so i decided to leave it...Ziga

I have just did that little job...straight forward. it's easier to rewire with a new relay direct to the switch you want. I now want to wire in the flash for the front fogs...

Hi mate..I already have the flash set up on the front fogs/Driving lamps...I'd prefer the sidelights and headlights to be on a single switch but with two positions..
1. Sidelights.
2. Headlights.

I did think about the fogs on a separate switch but thats just a posing element so I'm not too fussed about that...Cheers...Ziga
