My E90 and E36 M3 saloons

As it was a nice day I thought I would get my E36 out of the garage to say hello to its grandson

Nice pair of cars there, I really enjoyed my Evo saloon, very nearly bought it back last year I liked it that much. Not many looked after E36's around anymore, nice to see a cared for example.

Thanks. It's certainly well cared for! I like my cars the way they were meant to be from the factory

The E36 is just much more fun to drive! However the E90 as an all round car is less hassle to maintain being newer.


The E90 is however about a foot wider so can make parking a pain!

I love the shape and looks of the E36. I can't really explain why, to me they just look 'right', quite handsome looking cars IMO. Subtle too. E90 isn't afraid to show off its 400 and something horses though

Lovely looking cars - really do like the shape of the E36, unfortunately there aren't as many decent looking cars left that haven't been tampered with. Yours looks absolutely stunning. Superb colour too. The E90 is quite nice as well!

I did actually put the E36 up for sale last month. But I'm not sure it's the right decision as I'll know I'll regret it and the values seem to be climbing fast.

Interesting that you think its better than the e90.

People seem to be saying this is a car thats quickly getting rarer and going up in value,

I always liked these years ago and even more so today. Just reading up on them!

The E90 is great. It's just that the E36 feels more special more of the time due to less power. You hit licence loosing speeds quickly in the E90 so you always have to exercise self restraint.
