My brother is selling his car and I'm interested in it myself providing he doesn't want to fleece me!

2006 '06' Fiesta 1.2 Zetec 3dr
1 previous keeper
34,000 with full history
Unmarked condition
No aircon

What would be a fair private sale price?

If anyone has access to Glasses Guide etc, I'd be most grateful for any pointers! Cheers :-)

We got £3995 for a 2006 Fiesta 1.4 Climate recently, only had 12k miles on it and effectively one owner (lady's husband had bought it new for her, in his name, when he died it was transferred into her name, but it had been "her" car all along).

Webuyanycar are offering £1,965 for it. Can't see how they could haggle that down as the car doesn't have any blemishes inside or out!

On that basis, would a fair price in a private sale be around £2,250 or is that a bit low?

Thanks for all advice so far smile

Autotrader is suggesting £2,825!

Don't really want to pay that for a near 9 year old Fiesta!

May just advise him to sell it privately and help him get as much as possible smile

Thanks everyone for the advice.

I think we will start around £2,750 and take it from there. I didn't think an 8 year old Fiesta would be worth that but I guess you're looking at £12,000 plus for a new Zetec these days!
