Warning on start up

I sometimes get warning code 3 on start up.Ive read on here that its Oil pressure lamp but what does that mean. It is due a service but wondering wether I can drive it in the mean time.

I get oil pressure warning flash up on start up, it takes a second or so for the oil to reach the pressure sensor as it pumps it round the engine. I would suggest its nothing to worry about if all is OK on the move and the pressure readings are OK but if you are unsure I would get it checked. Better a £50 bill for diagnostics than 10K for a lunched engine!
