If I have a pension plan with Scottish Provident (or Equitable or Widows etc), if the vote for independence will my pension be managed by a foreign country in a non-UK currency?

I haven't seen much written about the effect of devolution on all the investments in Scottish-owned companies - how is this going to work?

Neither Scottish Provident nor Equitable is really Scottish, they are both owned by English firms.

Scottish Widows is owned by Lloyds who will bail out of Scotland in good time if need be.

Scottish Equitable is part of Aegon which, strictly speaking, is dutch.

I was wondering this. Mine is with Clerical Medical, who are owned by Lloyds. Their registered office is in Edinburgh, but word is they may move south if there's a Yes vote.
