Best use of pension, funding a decent car lease! What to get
Discussion
Now, having read many threads on PH, I am fully aware that the majority are powerfully built company directors! Now obviously the benefits of success will lead to a wealthy/comfortable retirement and not left to be dependent on the state pension.
So, assuming you still get one, what could be more PH than blowing the whole pension on a decent car lease! Could be anything you want, unlikely to have to ferry kids round, may need to impress others or simply to stick 2 fingers up to the youth!
So what would the old you get? Today the single state pension is £113 a week so that works out at a monthly figure of £490.
We'll assume the deposit is 6 months and you have enough funds to pay for that. Will probably have to be a personal lease unless you have a cheeky directorship that you'll use to lease the car.
So what would you go for? I have to say the old me quite fancies:
Cayman, only the 2.7 but 3 years for £409
Merc SLK 350 AMG Sport, 4 years for £468 or staying with Merc how about a C63 AMG for £470 in OAP Beige!!
