My next acquisition has just become my latest acquisition. Any day a watch arrives is a good daybiggrin. It's a mint Pierre Cardin Espace range watch from somewhere between 1971 and 1973. It actually has a Jeager movement. More info and better pictures (of someone else's watch) here.

I'm chuffed to nuts with the watch, but the strap is, frankly, pants, it's vinyl f.f.s. I'm pretty sure that's what it's supposed to have, but that doesn't mean I have to like it.

The strap is a single piece of material, with a buckle fitted. Does anyone know where I can buy one like this, or where I could get one made out of leather?

Ta.

From your description it sounds like a NATO strap might fit the bill?

Can be had for less than £10 so worth a punt.
