I'm interested in the opinions of those with experience of:
1. The heat insulating windscreen available for the 458.
2. The AFS headlight system for the 458.

Are they good? worth having? or just gimmicks - barely notice they're present?

I was told the heat insulating screen was aimed at the Middle Eastern market - not necessary in the UK
My last 458 had the AFS lights as they are compulsory when you have the lift system - on my latest self-spec'd car I didn't bother with either the lift or steer'y lights. Not missed them at all - so I'd say 'gimmick'!

Thanks for feedback - suspected as much re the lights. Car will eventually live in moderately more sunny latitudes than England but sounds like fancy windscreen might be unnecessary as well.
