Small idle issue (from dyno thread)..

So, as per the conversation started in the "Post your dyno curve here" thread, I have started a new one.
After reading that thread, it seems to me my car might be a bit down on power, and has definitely got an issue.
I need to double check that the Lambda's are still in, but I am pretty sure they are. The tune resistor was removed when it was mapped (I wasn't present for this).
The car has a sleeved exhaust, a 218 cam and a Clive F Y pipe.
When starting from cold, the car starts and idles without a problem. When driving along its fine, and feels better than it ever has after the mapping. It also idles without issue when stopped at lights etc.
However, when restarting the car while it is warm or even lukewarm (and has the hot start mod), it starts, runs for 5 seconds or so and then dies. I can stop that happening if I rev it, and then it keeps going without an issue after that.
Prior to mapping, the car wouldn't idle at all when stopped at lights etc after it had warmed up. In the process of curing this a new stepper motor and ignition amplifier were fitted (the ignition amp fixed the problem). I do have a spare, newish stepper motor as well.
The reason it was mapped was because it was still running rich after the amp etc were changed.
I will plug the laptop in this weekend and get some info off the rover gauge software - what exactly should I be looking for? QBee also hinted it might be the stepper, so I will probably swap that over as well.
Is there anything else I should be checking? Could this be an air leak from around the plenum area? Could a slightly blowing manifold cause this?

I've just put some tape around the stepper (existing one), and will see how that goes, still have the choice of changing it. I checked around the plenum with the car running, but it seemed fine, of course that was from cold, so will have another look once I get it all warmed up.
I do have a bible, so will check those at the weekend at the same time as hooking the laptop up.
