Buying a new Defender

Been looking at a Defender approx 10 years old. However, residual value is so strong buying a new one may make more sense.

Appreciate it won't be the last word in reliability, but with warranty for a few years and great residuals surely it's quite a sensible buy.

When do they stop building them. One of the last off the line would be very cool.
