Escorting a drab green van, possibly transit with some kind of fancy roof rack. Jammed in lane three. When traffic slowed the copper at the back in a 4x4 (looked like a Nissan terrano/Ford maverick) engaged in highly agressive weaving from l2 to l3. I assume he wasn't trying to keep his tyres warm or do the elk test.

Anyone know what they were all up to?

They tend to be a lot bigger than a Transit and on the one occasion I happened upon it they had no problem with me overtaking.

The nuclear waste trucks used to be innocuous looking blue container trucks in the olden days

There wouldn't have been much room in the tranny. I guess it was some scrote - odd timing for a court appearance though.

Actually, it could have been one of those Merc Vans - but why would they be taking nuclear weapons to Ikea?
