Popped into OPC Leeds this morning for a tyre change... Had a coffee while it was being done and these were in the showroom.

Enjoy! :-)

You want to stay away from OPC's for tyre changes; I had the privilege of paying my OPC 65quid a pop just to swap the boots over. Lovely cars though matesmile

Leeds charged £20 inc VAT, and also gave the car a full health check - the technician spent a good half hour going over it and put it on the ramp to check underneath...

Graham's quite happy with them so far. smile

I think I remember this car being up for sale on here in 2010. If memory serves me well it was up for £175. At the time Id just picked up my 997GT2 and remember thinking, if only I could have stretched and bought this one. Must have been one of the best £175k investment anyone could have made...

That has to be some kind of record!

I was thinking the other day that maybe this current bonkers market has cooled....there are plenty of 993 Turbo's on the market now (some have been reduced), a few 997 GT3 RS's and now three of these!

Be interesting to see what this 993 Turbo fetches at auction in a couple of weeks https://www.silverstoneauctions.com/1996-porsche-9...

Looks like a decent car with the X50 pack indicated at £75k to £90k.

Hi mate, hope you are well. It is not for sale. It belongs to a very good mate of mine, 12,000 miles from new.
I'm guessing the silver RHD used to belong to Martin Konig who used to race. M9FUN was the reg, owned from new. Sold it when the 996GT3 MK1 came out. I believe the first one in the country. Kept it all of two weeks as he did not gel with it.
Sold to another chap I knew David Jacobs. Him and his brother had this and a Silver 964 3.6 turbo plus other toys.
I think there are a few of us out there that wish we had a crystal ball. C'est la vie

Kind of him to have left it on display at the dealers showroom... If I were him, I wouldn't sell it either, better than cash in the bank! Without having a crystal ball I did predict that prices would rise for certain collectable models, but not to such an extent...

I think people can't believe their luck at the speed prices have risen and are looking quickly to cash out. This is why the market is becoming fluctuated. However we are in the "low season" now and if things are to pick up again we need to wait till March... I think that cars will continue to rise during next summer as UK economy still going v strong...

Hi Graeme,

You can tell your mate it was only uncovered for a few minutes - we were waiting for a tyre replacement and were trying to guess what was under the covers, the service manager let us have a look and I thought it'd be rude not too take a few pics - he reckoned the last one sold publicly was around £500k. If it's 1 of 7, I don't doubt that.

Beautiful machine! smile

Think I remember this mint green 993 being for sale at JCT 600 15 years ago. It was a tiptronic from memory?
