There were rumours of an RX9 floating about last year, but it seems to be firming up to be genuine, as well as an updated RX7.

Will be interesting to see what comes of it.

How many 'new RX-7' rumours gave there been? Are we in double figures yet? I can't see a rotary being made again.

Expensive to run, fragile (at least in RX8 guise it seems) and expensive to repair, I cannot see this either, at least with a Rotary engine.

Yawn. They're expensive to keep on the road if you don't know what you're doing with them.
If they don't re-appear, it'll be as a result of emissions rather than fragility.

I'll be amazed if it is as pretty as the FD RX-7. Got to be one of the best looking Japanese cars ever made.

Emissions comes under expensive to run, and regardless, a mainstream engine should be reliable for those don't know what they're doing with them as well. It's not a supercar engine!

Until they become a few years old, the owners become bored and stick on horrible bodykit and stickers, wheels
