Hi all,

Been a while since I posted about my car. Well, she's still at TVRS SW but is up and running again woohoo

OMEX man has been down and put a basic map on it, now it's running though it has showed up a electrical issue with the original loom which Colin is trying to chase down. He is condfident it should be on the rollers and mapped in the next week or so thumbup

Anyway, here are a few pictures:

Glad you're well on the way to getting everything sorted Nick, that exhaust manifold still amazes me, it must have taken Clive ages to work that out ! Incidentally, which radio is that ? , I'm looking for a decent silver fronted one that is uncomplicated and that looks spot on.

Crickey, that manifold looks insane!wobble

Does it condense from 8 to 2 to 1 like a regular system? Just thinking about the number of joints you've got, are they all bolted?

I've heard it can be hard enough trying to get the two usual manifolds to match the Y piecesmash

What ECU system are you running? I can see that you've gone for the ACT twin plenum but not changed the pipe from the air filter.

Looks like it goes 8 to 4, then presumably down to 1.

Thanks, it is good to be making progress. The stereo is a Pioneer DEH-P77MP

The manifold is a bit marmite, I love it though, sounds amazing - mix between an angry RV8 and an AJP. Clive did a lot of research, apparently he had an ex F1 engineer help out. Proper job as we say down here in the South West smile Made an extra 30-ish BHP if I remember.

I am running OMEX and have now ditched the standard pipe and got a larger silicone pipe. All the joints are bolted but I can't quite remember how it condenses though.

From memory & from other pictures I believe it goes 8-4-2-1 the trick being each manifold (all the way from the exhaust port) being of equal length & therefore in theory equal pressure. This being the same reasoning as the unequal lengths of the induction trumpets to compensate for differing induction distances to each cylinder (as I understand it).

Looks good, saw your car at Collins today. Didn"t realise you had an ACT plenum, I'd have made a point of coming over for a chat. smile

I like the dash, did you get it made up or did you buy it?

You should have found me Mr Plow.... I wouldn't have been able to tell you anything about it as I've not driven the car with it fitted but it's always good to meet a PH'er smile

The dash was from TVR Mads if I recall, cost me £60 inc. delivery. Brushed stainless and looks cool.
