mk1 focus scuttle drains /ac drain

got a small leak dripping from just above the bottom right corner of the glove box , no obvious signs of how its getting there

ive fitted a new pollen filter and seal and find its still dripping after a few days with no rain , the drips dont smell of coolant so im wondering is there a a/c drain i can check or could it have puddled up somewhere near a blocked scuttle drain?

When you've fitted the new pollen filter you've disturbed the seal running along the base of the windscreen by the pollen filter housing.

You can buy an adhesive strip seal from a Ford dealer-it's a common Mk1 Focus issue.

i fitted the new filter in an effort to fix it , was already leaking

i have the new sticky seal in place ..and its still dripping when the car hasnt been wet

The covers warp. Mastic along the base of the windscreen seal where it mates with the housing and try and keep it dry for a few days.
