Not anther relationship thread ;-)

I sold my opc 2 and a half years ago to put the money aside towards a deposit for my first house. Since the purchase the rest of the growing up has happened, I got engaged to the woman I love, and we are saving for the wedding & to buy a place together.

I have always had an interest in cars however they have taken a backseat, I haven't been to a track day since visiting the ring 18 months ago and car & coffee meets have become non runners.

My question is what does one do in between, buying a shed or cheap project isn't really ideal as it goes against the saving theme and motor related TV can only fulfil so much of my motoring needs. Lately it has been a case of suck it up princess but buying something cheap to tinker with keeps popping back up.

So What did you do, hold onto the motors and work the rest around it or buckle down for a short period and then after all is said & done hit the ground running?

I'm currently suggesting buying an appreciating car on tick (TVR/Noble) it's like a saving plan really as the appreciation covers the interest....only I don't have a garage so would have to find one to rent...

Well, she is struggling to see the man maths...

If you give up the cars before the wedding you'll never get them back!

DB7.

They are cheap... and fun to drive!

They are likely to go up in price.

They will have been looked after very well.
