Due to a foot injury I'm off of running at the moment so I'm trying to do a bit more cycling to make up for it.
Went out yesterday for a longish, hilly ride (around North Devon coast) and after about 10 miles my the toes on my right foot went numb, followed a few miles later by my left toes. They stayed numb until I got off the bike for some lunch, but once I was back on they pretty quickly went numb again.
I tried standing up on the downhills, shifting hands from drops to hoods etc but nothing seemed to make a difference.
Any advice?
For information I'm 5'10", about 11st7lbs and ride a Specialized Tricross Sport 56cm frame.

Are you using clipless pedals? If so, you need to change the position of the cleats further back. It used to happen to me - changed the cleat position - and now no problem.
Yes, I've got M520 SPDs fitted and Shimano MTB shoes. Do you mean move the cleat further back on the shoe, so the toe-to-cleat distance is greater?Gassing Station | Pedal Powered | Top of Page | What's New | My Stuff
